You probably don’t know what Rhino’s was.
You might not even care that it existed.
But something about this conversation has your ears leaning in.
Rhino’s was an all‑ages music venue. It was also a place to show up in the afternoon, hang out, make noise, make art, or just exist—especially if you were under 21 and there weren’t many places that welcomed you to do that.
It worked.
It mattered.
And Bloomington was better because of it.
We don’t want to bring Rhino’s back as a museum piece.
We want to bring the idea back—for you.
So here’s the plan (for now):
Start small: a show here and there
One show a month
Add afternoon hangs—activities shaped and driven by you
Build momentum
And if the demand is there—if the energy, the cash, and the right location line up—something more permanent appears.
A place we’re calling Rover’s (the name can change… but we’re kind of into it).
A space where you decide what happens.
Music. Art. Noise. Quiet. Experiments. Community.
Your ideas. Your people. Your rules.
This isn’t about nostalgia.
It’s about making room—for you—right now.
We are new. We are learning. Be patient with us. We will get there.
We promise.
